Car Blind-Spot Warning
A LiDAR on each mirror watches the blind spot and lights a warning LED when a bike or car is alongside.

Adults only
Involves vehicle wiring.
Not for children. Build at your own risk.
A driving aid only: always check your mirrors and shoulder.
Strictly follow the description given with this video.
Video
The video link will be added here soon.
How it works
- Each LiDAR looks back along its side of the car.
- The ESP32 reads both over two UARTs.
- A vehicle 0.5–6 m away in the zone lights that side's LED.
- The car's 12V goes through a buck converter set to 5.0 V.
