Kids OK with adultArduino NanoLevel 1/3
Smart Blind Stick
An ultrasonic sensor on the stick measures the distance ahead: the closer the obstacle, the faster it beeps.

Kids OK, with an adult
DIY project. Children must build this only with an adult (16+ years) beside them at all times. Not suitable for children under 8 years.
An adult must handle and charge the Li-ion cells. This is a learning project, not a certified mobility aid.
Strictly follow the description given with this video.

How it works
- The HC-SR04 measures the distance to whatever is ahead.
- The Nano shortens the gap between beeps as the distance drops.
- At 30 cm it gives one long beep: STOP.
- A protected 2× 18650 pack powers it through VIN.
